Scientific interests and highlights
Biosphere atmosphere interactions at different scales, tower and aircraft eddy covariance flux measurements, remote sensing and modelling
- development and validation of the aircraft flux measurements methodology (Gioli et al 2004; Gioli et al 2006)
- development of upscale methods for regional scale balances (Miglietta et al 2006; Miglietta et al 2009; Vellinga et al 2010)
- using regional fluxes as a validation toll for atmospheric and ecosystem modelling (Perez-Landa et al 2007a & 2007b, Sarrat et al 2009, Maselli et al 2010, TerMaat et al 2010)
- study of interactions between surface and PBL fluxes (de Arellano et al 2004)
- development and integration of remote sensing (Papale et al 2008) and micrometeorological devices (Matese et al 2008)
- measuring urban carbon fluxes (Matese et al 2009)
- measurinf VOC fluxes with DEC (Disjunct Eddy Covariance) onboard research vassels (Taddei et al 2009)
- fluorescence measurements at various scales (Rascher et al 2009), integration of fluorescence and carbon fluxes (Damm et al 2010)
